Took a bunch of girlfriends for a birthday fishing trip. We were treated great - the captains were very patient and helpful with the ones who didn't know a lot about fishing. The lodge was comfortable and the food was delicious. As in, OMG chef, will you marry me?? Our captains worked hard to make sure we had the best fishing experience, and they delivered. Great setting right by the Mississippi River....and a daiquiri shop nearby. What more could you want in a fish camp? We'll be going back!
Lodging was excellent, Chef Keith's food was delicious and our fishing guide, Chief, was superb. We will be going back to Salt Grass!
It was very loud here. Very busy place. Food was good.
Saltgrass has the potential to be a "Luxury Lodge" but what we found was nothing more than a glorified fishing lodge with mediocre amenities. Very disappointed and will not be coming back!
